Nice!
Are you using kontakt as sample player?

The piano sounds a little bit like low-pass filtered. Is it just my perception or was it on purpose to make it sound softer?

hey, that reminds me of a certain melody…could it be that this snippet in some way has been influenced by the Lost Woods-theme from the RPG The Legend of Zelda-Twilight Princess
?!
But nice indeed!

Absolutely atypical for you, One does not recognise you at all, But one proves against sometimes that it is no matter what you do, It well sounds!

@julian: no, the steinway has its own player
@tomek: thats the sound of a piano
listen to classic recordings… its not the “pop piano” sound we are used to hear in the radio… but you are right - its too soft, too realistic for dense pop songs
@funboy: by WHAT ??? you are talking about a game arent you ? no, sorry, didnt play that

nice! I’ve just been over a recording session in which the pianist brought a Yamaha P-80…its sound is absolutely no better than this sample library! good stuff!

this snippet is ok, but nothing special to me.
in my ears, the drums doesnt fit to the piano.
the piano melody sounds like me sitting on my piano and thinking about what to do next…

@Timon: When listening to it try to imagine yourself relaxing on a big sofa

Yes, it´s a (very popular) game, but don´t mind
it was just a thought of me

Nice piano sound!
I think its very boring to here 3 times the same akkord. I like the interlude between 32 sec. and 42 sec. After the interlude you shouldn’t play the same, with more variations it could be a nice piano track

Hi Rolf,
finde Deine Sachen klasse, wirklich gute Piano Sequenz!

JV-1080 is great, that was my first synth!!!
Rolf, do you know anything about the SR-JV expansions? I quite like the Vintage card demo but im not sure its worth that much money…
13. June 2008 at 17:25

@boka: i liked the vintage card as in those days but i dont think that these cards with their tiny memory are worth a lot nowadays… same goes for the other cards… can remeber “drums n bass” which had a cool drumkit… but today there are better kits with every sequencer

Its monoton like the tracks from D.Bohlen
just speed it up and bring in more live

ohh i like at - 0:20 how the drums steped out to give more space to the piano again
