Stretching the Seconds…
One really annoying thing in the 90s was the cutting of the beloved 6min+ clubmixes to Radio/Video-Mixes of about three minutes… But in advertising you only have seconds to evoke emotions…
So, after working on some Audio Logo layouts i thought about STRETCHING a 20 second layout for a TV comercial i did last year… And here is how it sounds for now…

Hm der erste Sound erinnert mich an ne Spiel-Konsole;) und an irgendwas noch ..komm nur nich drauf was…. Dieser Sound mit der Resonanz…. dieses Wow-wowa—- woher kommt das … das ist in irgendnem Lied noch drin….

Die Drum&Bass-Untermalung machts mir doch etwas arg hektisch. Trotzdem, feine Melodie und auch der Angang ist sehr stimmungsvoll und einladend.

Irgendwo her kommt mir diese Musik bekannt vor, ich weiss nur nicht mehr wo das war. In dieser Länge könnte ich mir das aber auch gut als Kinowerbung vorstellen. Da ist so ein Spot noch länger und hat mehr Details, um eine kleine Geschichte zu erzählen. Eine gestreckte Fassung von TV-Werbung kannte ich bisher nur einmal von “Like Ice in the Sunshine”

Very nice! It is for sure a snippet to use in a long version for the album.
I like the melody with these different instruments and the drum & bass are nicely putted together.

This one sounds big and I’m curious for the next part.
One small thing: The distorted sounds and the beginning
are way too noisy and quite disturbing to me, although I
like the experimental character of them.

Mir fällt so was überhaupt net auf!
Ich finds gut so ! alles passend.
Mir ist nur aufgefallen, dass das Piano zum Schluss in Lautstärke varriert – ist abissel irretierend.
Mir fällt auf dass, dieser Track wie auch viele andere von Rolf eine Fröhliche Steigerung in der Tonlage hat
Fröhlich wie eher Positiv ohne dabei lächerlich zu klingen sowie („Schlager“- ist fröhlich , aber eher spaßig)
Es gibt auch sehr viel „neutrale „ Musik besonders in den Charts,- ich nenn es frigide musik
Das ist bei Rolf net der Fall, es ist immer eine Laune der Musik zu hören entweder negativ oder positiv. (meist natürlich positiv)
Ich glaub sogar, dass Du – Rolf auch Schwierigkeiten hättest solch frigide musik zu machen
Was ich auch net wünsche.
Was noch auffällt - ist dass, die musik etwas POPiger wird, hört sich gut an - find ich gut! Weite so!!

-Interessant wäre zu hören, wenn man diese Drammset langsamer macht – würde sich das besser anhören – nein! Das ist nicht meine Meinung, das ist meine Überzeugung!
- Ich will nur sagen das gehört sich so!
Ach und wer anderer Meinung ist als ich bitte sagt es ich kann damit umgehen.

@talex: Bei Rolf’s Produktionen ist es nun mal so, das man beim ersten Anhöhren ziemlich überrascht sein kann und manchmall sogar nich versteht, was der Author gemeint hat. Mit der Zeit findet jeder etwas besonderes für sich in diesen Klängen. Musik ist ja doch eine Form von Kunst und jeder kann/darf/soll sie anders interpretieren
Da kann doch niemand Blöd sein

Ein schönes Stück Musik. Alles ist ziemlich unvorhersehbar, und das macht es gerade gut. Dieses Verrückte, Abgedrehte, und dazu die Piano-Melodie. Das mag ich an Rolf. Einige Leute können geilen Rhythmus (jetzt egal ob D’n'B oder technoid oder …), und andere können schöne Melodien. Beides perfekt vereinen und dann die Harmonien noch so vielschichtig machen - das können nur wenige.
Vor 200 Jahren schrieben solche Leute gute Sinfonien, aber mit den modernen technischen Möglichkeiten klingt es doch viel besser und abwechslungsreicher.;)

Wenn Du mit “Wow-wowa” den verzerrten Sound meist, den ich meine: Da gibt einen minimalistischen Track von Daft Punk, wo etwas Ähnliches vorkommt. “Rock’n Roll” hieß der, von 1996. Dazu habe ich damals begeistert abgerockt.
