This story is definitely in outer space - what some fans also had in mind with CHALLENGE.
But in this case the mood is more relaxed and without pressure. When the piano starts, I imagine some guys in a small space ship which is connected to a big mothership. You can see many stars and galaxies through the windows. When the rhythm starts, the small ship is released and starts travelling through space, still quite slowly. (One of the guys uses a touchscreen to steer the ship.) But it gets faster, and now there are some obstacles to pass (meteorites ect.).
At 3:10 (in the break, when the lead starts) the ship reaches a big object like a wormhole. It stops in front of that, and all guys look at the wormhole. Then it opens, and the ship flies into it. There is an extreme acceleration (at 3:30, when the rhythm comes back), the ship vibrates, and outside there are strange-looking objects passing, but too fast to recognize what they are.
At the end the space ship leaves the wormhole, flies very slowly again, and then you see the earth in front of the ship with many big ships surrounding. The last picture is the ship heading towards the earth and getting smaller and smaller from my view.

Feels like humans getting to know extraterrestial life forms.

  3. Koellefornian Says:

In short: I am sitting in a spaceship, getting faster and faster. I feel free and I start a race with other spaceships…. of course, I win *lol*

    :)

Bei Stellarium denke ich immer an K-PAX.

  5. Hardwarekiller Says:

A guy gets to know that he lost a person he really respected and liked. After a while remembrances come that remind him of the good times when everything was ok and had lots of fun together. The stories of what happened to them are being presented…

  7. Malte Says:

  8. the-xray Says:

again, no peaking before I wrote this:

This song is like a dream to me. It starts with me lying in the warm summer grass outside, in the middle of the night, watching the stars. The vastness of the universe is mind-boggling. All of a sudden I start hovering, and slowly at first, but soon accelerating, I fly off into space. I’m beginning a journey through space, that shows me strange worlds and planets, things nobody can even imagine. Everything goes very fast, the stars are often just little lights flying past me (like this old windows screensaver). I feel excited, but relaxed and free! Being free is the innermost desire of my soul. This song brings me closer to it. In the end of the song, I come back to earth. I’m still flying very fast, quickly evading trees and other obstacles, up and down grassy hills, and right through my bedroom window into my bed, where I wake up with a start.

  10. Rolf Says:

i wish i had someone making videos of all these cool stories :)

  11. lilacfairy Says:

  12. Yannick Says:

Maybe you could hire some indians (from India, of course!)?
And I remember a picture with some guy holding a sign: “Will code html for food.” There must be someone wiling tul direct Videoclips for the same price. Especially in theses times.

  13. J Says:

A person wanders alone under a sparkling starry sky on a frozen sea a winter night in the north. The cold is severe, and his steps become heavier and heavier. He is dazed, the cold calls to him, cradles him. He becomes sleepier and sleepier, soon he can not stand upright, he is forced to rely on his arms. He creeps forward. Gradually he loses touch with reality and withdraws into a dreamy state. He falls asleep, he dreams. The starry sparkles becomes sharper and sharper, they start to pulsate.

0:43 He is sucked up towards the starry sky, disappears into a maze of pulsating celestial bodies.

2:41 It is still, he stands at a precipice. All he need to do is to take one last step and go to sleep forever.

2:55 He does not intend to give up. Slowly he starts to climb, back to Earth, to his body, to reality.

3:09 He open up his eyes, with renewed strength, he raises up and walk resolutely ahead! He will survive.

4:33 Left, right, left, right, left, one step, one more, forward, forward.

  14. J Says:

Haha, seems like more people than me thought about space and space travel :D I guess the name of the song kinda put your thoughts in that general direction though.

  15. Timon Says:

i have no special story for this song.
but its a song which can take you away from anywhere you are. it depends on the situation.
the speakers have to be very loud, and than i can dive into the sounds, the melodie and the speed.

for me, ive never connected ’space’ woth this song. i didnt know the meaning of “stellarium” befor. i just checked the translation now.

  16. hor80 Says:

what about your own story to stellarium, rolf? :)

  17. Rolf Says:

yeah, its coming… tommorow i hope… though its not a long one… rather a look inside the creative process…

  18. V-12/Tropyx Says:

Quite late but I was busy last days… Well this song for me is probably best song on the album: a mixture of relax piano melody and aggressive trance melody.

While listening to Stellarium I see a running man on the Olympiad - running for gold :).

  19. Thomas Says:

This Song is nice! At the beginning I found the initial part of the song a little bit boring, but as time was running by, I liked it more and more. It has a pretty unique style, especially the melody is great. The backround part is thereby pretty oldschpool, but it sounds ok. A good song which maybe could be a little bit more Rolf…

  20. Romeeck Says:

I felt like I was at square, surrounded by very big stellas, alone…
The sky was overcast, that made stellas greater and higher.
I saw my life between those stellas…
