Doepfer Dark Energy…
The Doepfer Dark Energy is a small semi-modular analog synthesizer and was one of my “self given” christmas presents… its a little box with knobs which really invite to modulate sounds… but its only monophonic (one “voice” only)
So i played around with a little sequence, plugged in the output of another sound-source and recorded five different tracks with heavy modulation…

Then i added some “classic” progressive drums and percussion, some effects… i had an idea for a sample as well, which lead to the title “SECOND TIME”, but i wasnt pleased with it yet… but as an instrumental its quite enjoyable i think…

Sound little reminds me like Kai Tracid - Life is to short (rmb remix) and Controlled force Mission Horizon album, just little :), but I like this Club sound, sound more serious, I like beats who just going and going, never stop, no big brakes in song!!! Just blow my mind :))

Wo ist denn die Melodie? Während des Breaks dachte ich die ganze Zeit, dass es danach so richtig losgeht. Aber Pustekuchen. Soundtechnisch natürlich wie immer hervorragend.
19. March 2010 at 11:19
Klingt natürlich soundtechnisch wieder hervorragend, aber musikalisch etwas…monoton. Glaube, dass hat Rolf in wenigen Minuten zusammengebastelt.
19. March 2010 at 13:17
Nice! I also miss the melody but still like it!
