Sorry for not posting half a year… there will be stuff here the next weeks, promised!
I did a lot of paid work again but will concentrate on a new ROLF MAIER BODE album this summer. Its planned to release it this year of course…

@ReMix: No. But i think about doing live from time to time…
@Tomek: No. I guess 90% dont have 5.1 and of those 10% with “surround” 90% have a horrible system (5 tiny speakers and a small sub for less $ than any one would spend for a decent stereo system)
-> concentrate your spending on TWO speaker - if its for MUSIC…
…though thats only an opinion

Yes, of course… i am thinking aobut releasing maybe an EP of preversions beforehand, but then, maybe in autumn, a physical CD…

@SteFan: Klanglich war ich nie ein Fan von Vinyl… Es kommt eben IMMER was anderes bei raus, als man einspielt… das haben mir damals auch alte Vinyl-Hasen bestätigt… Bei aller Liebe zu grossen Covern, der Klang von Vinyl ist einer gut gemasterten(!!) CD nicht gewachsen…
Aaaaaaber… ich spiele mit dem Gedanken eine limited “High End” Version des Album zu machen - eine DVD mit allen Songs im extra dynamisch gemasterten 24Bit/96kHz Format… denn beim “laut machen” im Mastering geht doch einiges an Klang flöten - auf hohem Niveau gesprochen…. zu dieser DVD habe ich noch ein paar weitere Ideen in Richtung “Unikat”, aber erstmal müssen ja die Songs selbst gemacht werden

Bin auf jeden Fall auf die neuen Tracks gespannt Thirteen Nights läuft bei mir noch ziemlich oft, ein paar Tracks mit Vocals wären klasse. Halte uns bitte auf dem Laufenden.

Ich würde ein paar Vocals mehr ebenfalls begruessen - mal abgesehen davon, dass ich mich in jedem Falle ebenfalls auf das neue Material freue
