…the timing…
Time is flying and i had to pin down some deadlines… to say the least: the timing is quite “sportive” for this album… two weeks for finalizing the three “singles” of which one doesnt even exist, two weeks for the ten other songs: arrangement, mixing and putting in some crazy stuff that they still lack… then just one week for everything that still needs work and finally mastering… thats mainly october… please send me encouraging postcards!
Sleepless nights and bloody fingers for YOU. So that YOU can get the album on CD still in NOVEMBER to go xmas shopping with good music in your earpods…

Oh, and some nice guys came over to talk about my music, videos and tech stuff… they filmed some snippets and just cut a (very) short movie… but it seems that i have to add some action scenes myself - at the end when the beat kicks in

I still think the first version of State of Flux - Stretching the Seconds - from Aug 2008 is absolutely brilliant.

Maybe I´m not the only one, who hopes, that “classic trance” snippet will be made into whole song
I missed it very much on the previous album, so what about some bonus track on the “high end” limited editon DVD.

So “Simple Things” is now called “Inner Voice”. If it was due to your inner voice which lead to this track - keep on listening to it. Great mix! Only thing to moan about, for me, are the claps at the beginning. But hey… WOW!
OTOH, the other snippet sounds rather uninspired. Sorry. :/
Please don’t rush things. I’d rather wait another month or two.

The new snippet is “okay”, nothing special for me. But I love Inner Voice/Simple Things! Even if all other tracks of the album suck (okay, nobody think so^^), only this track is a reason to buy the album, great work.

My thoughts about the snippet: It begins kind of boring. Just like any other trance song with a melody which you can even guess before hearing the first time as it’s so “standard”.
But after around half a minute the song starts to develop nicely. Anyway I also have to agree with Ptr: Unless you ABSOLUTELY need the money now to buy your new wife something for christmas, no hurry and take your time to finish the songs in the usual Rolf-perfection instead of rushing out “cheap” songs without your typical perfection.

..please be asured, i DO take my time with the songs… i already condensed the list from 35 to 14 and everyone of them got a lot of care… and i am still not finished…

…thinking of changing the timing… some of the now 13 candidates got so much better the last week, i just want to “up” all of them…

Da bin ebenfalls gespannt. Bin eher durch reinen Zufall auf “Thirteen Stories” gestolpert. Als damals riesiger Fan von RMB war ich aber sofort begeistert. Super Produktion (wer gute LS daheim hat, legt auf so was größten Wert) und eine tolle Instrumentierung, die neue Wege gehen will.
Neben Infected Mushroom’s neuen Player die elektronische Scheibe dieses Jahr für mich. Ok, komme 2 Jahre zu spät, aber lieber zu spät als nie.
Drücke für das kommende Album fest die Daumen!
